Madrid,
mid-80s, the Spanish capital lives a true musical explosion not known until
then. Amid all this maelstrom an unknown teenager enters a record shop to
invest their savings in an album, Standing on a beach of The Cure. Even he knew
this would be the first step of a long and costly steps it would take to be one
of the dj's essential for this country.
This fondness
for discs for personal consumption continued to expand with references Joy
Division, The Smiths, Sisters of Mercy, Fields of the Nephilim and the whole

The success
of the sessions in New World is rising and Oscar entered the studio for the

was conceived as a movie, always different, always moving, with the same
attention in the beginning, middle and end. Along with music and visual
projections contributed something new in the nights of the capital, no one had

graphic image, the Omen flyers were true works of art, created to detail,
experimenting with fonts, formats and more futuristic materials, creating

1996 arrives

official confirmation of a scene hitherto embryonic, for the first time is

Geométrika FM was born in July 2007 with the goals of showing what electronic music is for us and also to promote people and projects who has a clear commitment with it. This project try to let people know electronic music is not only a party in a club but also can be the way of facing the life.
After a first stage focusing in radio podcast came the website where we have suggestions, guidelines and interviews. A lot of people participate in our project with recorded sets, a bit of each one with a wide range of influences is what makes Geometrika FM. We are also open to other artistic disciplines such as audiovisual productions. Our netlabel was the next step and in November 2011 we began to edit with people who has unique ways of understand music, it is the same profile we use to choose artists when we do Geométrika FM parties.
For the 8th season, 4th for the net label, being aware about the social moment we are living we have decided to change a little bit the spirit of the net-label. From now onwards, anyone who wants it can pay through a Bandcamp for our music, all the money collected will be used to help organisations which helps in social issues.
In July 2015 geometrika FM became a cultural association with the goal of promoting worldwide cultural values and social inclusion, these values are the ones we always had as a music project… and this is our way of moving forward.
